# Four output power tubes in triode OTL mode # 35WRMS@8ohms # 35WRMS/12WRMS selector
The input stage has two double triodes tubes, one 12AX7 and one 12BH7. The output stage with four EL509 tubes in triode mode provides 35WRMS, 3WRMS in class A. A choice of single-ended RCA or balanced XLR input is selectable with a back-side switch. A second back-side switch change the power output from 35WRMS to 12WRMS for extended tubes life. The power supply has an oversized 3300/450VDC capacitor and 4 stabilized voltage circuits for driver tubes, adjustable bias and current sources. The constant current sources in the input stages, help maintain stable drive characteristics and balance of the output stage. VOM-35 is capable of high level resolution and control over any loudspeaker with vivid and natural presentation. The VOM-35 delivers modern performance standards, with all the features to meet the needs of today’s music. 35WRMS@8ohms of power is output into a speaker load with less than 0.8% distortion. The sound when driving our ESL-12 electrostatic loudspeakers was open, fast and warm without coloration's. Balanced and unbalanced inputs allow matching with all solid or vacuum tubes preamplifiers. |
