# Two platters # Two motors # Parallel tracking tone arm
The TT-12 turntable has two equal mass aluminum platters rotating together.
The two platters are fixed to a high mass aluminum axle.
The result of this design is a platform, particularly isolated from environmental and mechanical noise, while maintaining stability.
A low noise stabilized power supply feeds a quadrature oscillator and two power amplifiers.
The outputs of the power amplifiers, provide two sinusoidal signals and drive the two motors.
Specially shaped aluminum pulleys, rotate the below platter with two belts.
A precision ruby bearing, provides smooth rotation and maintenance free.
TA-12 PARALLEL TRACKING TONEARM
In pivoted tonearms, the arm is moved in an arc across the record surface, so the stylus following the record groove has tracking errors.
The arm of the TA-12 moves tangentially to a linear path.
The cartridge moves parallel to the groove, following the same path as the cutting head did when making the record.
Cantilever and stylus are perfectly aligned.
No side forces are generated and anti-skating compensation is not required.
